Everything you need to know about Water Halo — how it works, who it's for, and what to expect at launch.
Water Halo is a wearable water detection alert system designed to help caregivers respond quickly when a child, loved one, or pet enters water unexpectedly.
The device attaches to a wrist or collar and detects water contact, triggering an alert to a nearby base station that produces sound and visual warnings.
Water Halo is designed for children near pools, lakes, ponds, or beaches; individuals who may need additional water safety monitoring; and pets around backyard pools or open water.
No. Water Halo is an added layer of awareness and should never replace active adult supervision, pool barriers, swim skills, or other safety precautions.
The system functions around backyard pools, vacation rentals, lakeside properties, beaches, boats, docks, and homes with spas or water features.
The alarm delivers a strong, attention-grabbing audible alarm and visual alert — comparable to household fire alarm volume.
Water Halo is designed to safely handle everyday water exposure while accurately detecting contact with water. The sensing areas remain uncovered to ensure reliable detection.
